ABC’s Fisk takes entertainment crown; Nine wins Wednesday

ABC’s Fisk topped entertainment on Wednesday, however, it was the Nine network that celebrated an overall network share win.

The program aired to 497,000 metro viewers, while Nine News at 6:30 won all key advertising demos.

In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for Wednesday 23 November, Seven News was the #1 program nationally across linear, with 1.295 million viewers, including 33,000 on BVOD, and an uplift of 3%. Love Island Australia had the biggest uplift of the week at 844%, while viewed by a total audience of 340,000, and 257,000 on BVOD.

Looking back at Wednesday’s overnights, Hard Quiz on ABC was next, which aired to an average metro audience of 472,000, followed by Question Everything on ABC, which aired to an average of 424,000.

Seven’s cricket: First Test – Australia versus West Indies aired to a metro audience of 391,000 viewers.

Next up was an episode of  Hot Seat on Nine which had an average metro audience of 380,000, followed by Country Home Rescue with Shayna Blaze on Nine which brought in 332,000 metro viewers.

Meanwhile, Nine News won overall TV viewing on Wednesday night with 749,000 metro viewers, followed by Nine News at 6:30 with 728,000 metro viewers, while Seven News at 6:30 had 709,000 metro viewers. Seven News brought in 707,000. ABC News pulled in 544,000 viewers, and A Current Affair pulled in 537,000 metro views.

As mentioned, Nine won the night, taking an overall network share of 25.1% just pipping Seven’s 24.3%, while the ABC had a share of 21.5%, and Ten had a share of 18.3%.

Nine also won the primary channel share, and the top-rating multi-channel on Wednesday was 7TWO with a share of 4.1%.
