Accenture executive Christine Removille returns to Carat after 20 years, as global president

Accenture Interactive founder Christine Removille has been named global president of Carat.

She replaces Will Swayne who will take a new global client leadership role.

Removille had been with Accenture for 20 years. Along with launching Accenture Interactive in Europe she was also managing director of Europe, Latin America and Africa.

The executive had a 12-month spell at Carat in 1997 where she was senior international account director, based in Paris.

Removille said in a statement: “I am thrilled to become part of Dentsu Aegis Network to lead the next wave of transformation with Carat.

“My decision to join Dentsu Aegis Network was driven by their unique people-based data platform, the integrated operating model and completeness of marketing services.

“It is an exciting time and consulting talents combining business acumen, analytics and technology will add value in the agency landscape.”

Carat chief executive of media brands and global clients Peter Huijboom described Removille as an “energetic, transformative leader”.

“She brings a wealth of experience in building media and digital services and a deep passion for innovation and product development,” he said. ” I look forward to working with Christine as we support our clients as they continue to transform for the digital economy.”
