ACM creates new Melbourne-based sales team led by News Corp’s Anna Hosking

Australian Community Media (ACM) has ended its relationship with media solutions business Brown Orr Fletcher Burrows (BOFB) for sales in Melbourne, instead choosing to instill its own new local team.

In a letter sent to ACM customers, the publisher thanked BOFB for its ‘many years’ of representation and said it was ‘grateful for their commitment, market knowledge and track record’.

The new team will be in-house and be led by Anna Hosking who joins from News Corp Australia. Hosking will take up the title of commercial director for Victoria at ACM, having been group sales director for News Corp and a sales director at APN Australian Regional Media before that.

Reporting to Hosking will be Kelsey Duncan and Molly Lacey who will both become ACM’s account managers in the market. Duncan was formerly a key account sales manager with News Corp Australia and Lacey joins from Lucky Connect where she was partner and general manager.

ACM is also currently still recruiting for the team.

In late 2019, ACM sales boss Penny Kaleta left the business to join Nine Radio as its new director of sales. Mumbrella understands the role will not be replaced.
