Adelaide designer Kellie Campbell named as Australia’s ADC Young Gun
Just one Australian made the winners list for this year’s Art Directors Club Young Guns Competition.
Kellie Campbell, a senior designer at Parallax Design in Adelaide made the Young Guns 8 list, which named 50 creatives aged below 30 from around the globe.
The accolade is not the first for Campbell, who was previously awarded Best Graduate from the Australian Graphic Design Association and the Design Institute of Australia.
In 2008 she received the Adelaide Advertising and Design Club Gold Chair. She is vice president of the Australian Graphic Design Association’s South Australian Chapter.
There was also one Kiwi winner among the 50, with self-employed Kris Sowersby, from Hawkes Bay also making the list.
According to the New York-basedADC: ” Selected from entries received from 37 countries, these ADC Young Guns 8 winners represent an impressive global roster of young talent in the fields of graphic design, illustration, advertising and art direction, environmental design, film, animation & video, interactive design, product design and typography.”
