Adelaide radio ratings: MIX102.3 takes overall lead, passing FIVEaa

Australian Radio Network’s MIX102.3 regained its lead over FIVEaa in the latest GfK survey of the Adelaide radio market.

A steady gain by the MIX102.3 breakfast team of Jodie Oddy and Mark ‘Soda’ Soderstrom while FIVEaa faded by 1.6 percentage points in the 5:30am to 9am timeslot gave the FM station the edge over its AM competitor.

Across the rest of the FM band, HIT107 had the greatest gain of 1.1 percentage points, again buoyed by a strong gain of 2.3 points by the breakfast team of Amos, Cat and Angus.

At the other end of the day,  Nova’s Kate Ritchie, Tim Blackwell and Marty Sheargold reversed the last survey’s decline picking up 0.6 points to finish with 12.7% of the audience. Mix102.3’s Dave Hughes and Kate Langbroek closed the gap however picking up 1.2 points to finish with 12%.

On the AM band again both FIVEaa and ABC Adelaide suffered drops in the drive timeslot with declines of 0.8 and 0.5 points respectively to 10.7% and 7.2%.
