Digby has worked with celebrity chefs, TV personalities, film and TV producers, musicians, event organisers and promoters, and designers, while von Muenster – a regular speaker at Mumbrella events –  is the legal adviser to The Communications Council, The Media Federation and Public Relations Council among others.

Principal of the newly formed DVM Law, von Muenster said the new venture was the natural next step for the two firms.

“Through our work in the creative industries, we have seen our clients’ businesses and the industries they work in innovate and change drastically. DVM Law is a reflection of this and our businesses evolving to meet our clients’ ever-changing needs and ambitions,” he said.

Digby, the firm’s other principal, said the new business offering would be “unique” to adland.

“I’ve always wanted to do things differently – to find new and innovative solutions for my clients and support them for their future efforts. DVM Law is the next step forward to ensure that we’re evolving with our clients to deliver the best possible results.”

Senior associate Sam Berry has also joined the firm after 10 years at a mid-tier law firm.
