CumminsRoss takes agency of the year for 2013 AdNews awards
Full-service agency CumminsRoss was named the agency of the year for 2013 and the independent agency of the year at last night’s AdNews awards.
CumminsRoss beat out Match Media, Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, The Monkeys and Maud to take home the top gong.
Fellow independent Match Media was named media agency of the year while Clemenger BBDO Melbourne took out the Victorian agency of the year title, as The Monkeys took out the NSW title. The Monkeys sister-design agency Maud was named emerging agency of the year.
Is this award based on the work, or the spin?
Unbelievable! Happy to be working with such amazing and talented people here in the agency. Well done guys, all the hard work paid off 🙂
Good on them – they have worked hard to build something unique and its clearly working.
@lovely.
I think they CR very worthy winners.
I have never heard spin from them. They dont have spin doctors according to my knowledge. And unlike other agencies that have in house pr, they seem to let their work do the talking.
So your comments aren’t particularly sound and I suspect you’re grinding your axe on soft stone.
Get a life. Embrace diversity and newness. And i suspect you will fine them very worthy winners
PS their bourbon spot is awesome
Well done – at least they made some memorable ads that sold stuff. That’s important to the clients.
@very worthy.
Well said Sean.
well done CR.. cant say i have seen work i rememebr for deakin uni, asahi or dairy, but the ads for Jeep (I Bought a Jeep) are monumentally successful and the slogan is now in our national lexicon. i applaud any independant agency who can come up with cut through campaigns against all the might and resources of multinationals. good job
Does Queensland not rate a mention? Another example of Sydney-centric adland brushing off this important and relevant market. Or did no Qld agencies bother entering??? Hopeless either way.
