AI property intelligence business, Propic, hires head of marketing

Property intelligence start-up, Propic has appointed Stephanie Charalambous as its head of marketing, in a newly created role, effective immediately.

She joins Propic with experience at REA Group Asia, leading the CommercialAsia website, as well as a marketing stint at LJ Hooker. Charalambous joins the senior leadership team at Propic, and will lead all marketing and communications, as Propic “transforms itself into a globally relevant tech partner for the real estate industry”.

Charalambous said: “It’s such an exciting time to join Propic. One day we’ll all look back on these days and tell stories about how people used to wait 72 hours or more for a response from a real estate agent, and laugh and shake our heads. Propic has a truly transformative people-first proptech approach, and it’s a privilege to spread the word out to more Australian property leaders in this new role.”

Chief commercial officer, David Choi said that he is “absolutely thrilled” to have someone of Charalambous’ calibre joining Propic.

Australian Community Media (ACM) owner Antony Catalano invested in the real-time property marketing intelligence business earlier this year.

“We’re on a fast upward trajectory at Propic,” said Choi. “After the $6 million injection of Series A funding from Antony Catalano and Alex Waislitz earlier this year our pace has only quickened as more real estate agency leaders look to Propic for answers to spending more time on things that matter, and using our AI-driven approach to automate and accelerate growth while delivering an amazing customer experience.”

Charalambous recently returned from Singapore, where she was working as a freelance marketing consultant.
