Allianz tells customers to ‘be inspired’ by their home in new ad

Allianz has created an ad for its home insurance offering as part of its branding shift, telling customers to be inspired by what they can do in their home, rather than just insuring it.

The ad is part of Allianz’s new campaign ‘Don’t just be insured- Be inspired’

Created by Cumins&Partners, the new work features young kids playing in a home-made tent while their dad makes cookies in the kitchen.

A voice over says ‘This is insured” while showing a blank kitchen table, and later “This is inspired” as the kitchen table transforms into a place for cooking biscuits for the family.

The ad pushes Allianz’s online policy application system for its building and contents cover.

The ad is part of Allianz’s new ‘Don’t just be insured – Be inspired’ campaign which launched in December last year, with an ad telling people to use their cars to see new things.

In January this year, Allianz confirmed Cummins&Partners was behind the new work, and had been added to the brand’s roster of agencies.

MercerBell previously held the Allianz account for seven years, creating the tagline ‘Ahhh…llianz”, however the agency declined to pitch for the account this time around.
