AMPR’s work with the Melbourne Fashion Festival and its return to work this year with the Melbourne Racing Club for the 2020 Stella Artois Caulfield Cup Carnival, reflects its long-standing relationships in the Melbourne entertainment sector. The agency also has long-standing relationships with Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and the Royal Melbourne Show. Throughout the pandemic, the agency has worked on developing creative concepts to bring these organisations’ experiences to life in the COVID-19 landscape.

Sarah Gale, AMPR Group’s managing director, explained that in response to the pandemic, the agency looked to innovate its communications services to drive consumer engagement towards clients worst-hit by the pandemic.

“Like many other businesses in Australia, the last few months have been incredibly challenging. The team has shown remarkable resilience, choosing to use this period as an opportunity for growth, innovation and learning,” Gale said.

“I’ve been particularly proud of AMPR’s senior management who quickly put measures in place that enabled us to retain our staff and get them thinking in ways to extend our services and add value for our clients, industry and local communities,” continued Gale.

The agency’s content team developed an IGTV series during lockdown in partnership with Spend With Them, profiling a new small business each week that generated customer leads for those profiled.

AMPR has also been engaged for new projects with Tom Organic and Multicultural Arts Victoria. Fashion brand Witchery has also engaged the agency for its White Shirt campaign for the third year running in 2021.
