AnalogFolk launches in Shanghai

Sydney based independent creative agency AnalogFolk has opened another office in Shanghai, adding to its offices in London, New York, Portland and Hong Kong.

The office will be run by managing director Wayne Fan and creative director Tommy Liou who will be partners in the Chinese venture.

Bill Brock, founder and CEO at AnalogFolk, said in a statement: “The opening of AnalogFolk Shanghai is a hugely important step in this continued expansion. As with each new office, in Wayne and Tommy, we have brought on board partners in Shanghai who are at the top of the industry, with the talent and experience to help brands succeed in China.”

The new office will see the Shanghai team partner with Jacob’s Creek as an extension of the brand’s global relationship with AnalogFolk Sydney.

Matt Robinson, AnalogFolk Australia managing director and partner, said in a statement: “Australian brands are looking to China as an enormous source of growth, but with that opportunity there are also some big challenges.

“In Wayne, Tommy and their team in China, we now have the ability to offer both digital innovation and exceptional brand building for our clients, and we’re looking forward to helping more Australian brands make an impact in the market.”
