Anchora has introduced a new leadership structure to support its growth, while there’s a rising demand for integrated Martech and AI solutions in the APAC region.
The announcement:
Independent marketing technology and AI consultancy Anchora has announced a new leadership structure to support its next phase of growth, as demand rises for integrated MarTech and AI solutions across the APAC region.
Sambhav Jain has been promoted to chief technology officer, uniting Anchora’s content, data, journey and AI capabilities under one strategic banner. Co-founder Max Barrass takes on the newly created role of chief innovation officer, focused on future-facing initiatives and helping clients stay ahead of rapid change.
CEO Luke Evans says the restructure reflects both Anchora’s momentum and its forward plan. Evans said: “This restructure is a natural progression for us. We’ve grown quickly, and this next phase is about ensuring we stay responsive and purposeful. It positions us to scale in a way that aligns with what our clients need – congruent thinking, clear accountability and real results.”
The move comes as Anchora continues to track 12 months ahead of growth forecasts, maintaining 30% year-on-year growth and expanding delivery capability across the region. Its client base includes Spark NZ, Colonial First State, Malaysia Airlines and RACQ.
Jain said: “This is a big step forward for Anchora and I’m thrilled to take on the CTO role as we enter this next phase. What excites me most is the chance to bring our tech capabilities closer together – including the use of AI. Aligning how we work across teams so we can move faster, think bigger and scale smarter will power us forward.”
The restructure also supports Anchora’s broader commitment to sustainable growth and leadership diversity, with women making up a third of its senior leadership team.
Barrass said: “Anchora’s always been able to punch above its weight. This gives us more firepower to experiment, evolve and build smarter, faster solutions with our clients. We have always been an organisation that prides itself on differentiation, this role will accelerate that trajectory.”
With an established footprint across Australia, New Zealand, India and Southeast Asia, Anchora continues to scale with intent – keeping delivery sharp and solutions strategic.
