Animal Kingdom moves to June

Animal KingdomMadman Entertainment has changed the release date for David Michod’s Animal Kingdom, from April 29 to June 3.

This is the second date change for the film, which previously moved from May 6 to April 29. A spokesperson for Madman said this was “likely to be the final date”.

The move will prevent the film from being released the same day as Iron Man 2. At the moment, there are no other films scheduled for release on June 3, although the date is right in the middle of the competitive blockbuster season that will see Prince of Persia released the previous week on May 27.
