Anti-pitch author Blair Enns to speak at Mumbrella360
Canada-based new business expert Blair Enns – the champion of agencies winning business without pitching – is to give an address at next month’s Mumbrella360.
Enns will be participating in Mumbrella360 as part of a short tour of Australia.
He is best known for his book The Win Without Pitching Manifesto. He consults with advertising, PR and design agencies.
In the book, Enns argues that agencies waste time and energy – and give their best ideas away for free – as part of the pitch process. He argues that there are ways of winning business “without first parting with ideas or sacrificing respect”.
Enns’ session at Mumbrella360 is titled The cost of creativity: why creative people are predisposed to the pitch. It takes place on the second day of the June 7 and 8 conference.
The full program – and tickets – are available on the Mumbrella360 website.
