APN unveils new Transit Mapping system

Out of home advertising company APN Outdoor has launched a new offering which helps retailers choose the best APN advertising package for their business.

The announcement:

Sydney, December 10 2010: APN Outdoor, Australia’s largest out of home operator has developed a new Transit Mapping system which provides street by street coverage for the various Transit advertising packages across all metropolitan markets.

Co-developed with Veitch Lister Consulting, a leading specialist transport and traffic planning consultancy, the new Transit maps deliver coverage for individual transit packages and highlight the precincts in which transit moves with greatest frequency across the day.

Importantly, the new system can overlay retail outlets against different Transit packages, which is crucial for client’s wanting to understand how transit intersects their outlets when consumers are on the path to purchase.

Whilst the new mapping system does not provide reach or frequency, it does add another layer of granularity about the specific geographic coverage of different transit packages.
