Aegis-owned Apollo Marketing continues to show that Promotional Activations are growing rapidly and that consumer led and strategically driven agencies are leading the trend.

Today, Apollo Managing Director Will Riley announced five new business wins for the agency and the appointment of six extra staff to cope with its burgeoning workload.

These new business wins include Colgate, Virgin Blue, IAG, Sunbeam, and LG.

“We are ecstatic about our new wins and welcome the opportunity to work with such diverse and strong brands,” says Will. “This boost to our business reflects our commitment to results based consumer engagement and we are pleased to have on board such a great new team to help us move forward.”

Apollo’s new employees include Loredana Woodward (Account Director), Jo Hull (Senior Account Manager), Amy Pratt (Account Manager), Lauren McInnes (Account Manager), Jannah Fleetwood (Account Manager) and Kimberley Owen (Graphic Designer).

Will also announced the promotion of three existing staff members who have helped deliver the agency’s continuing double-digit growth. Lee James has been promoted to Account Director on Foster’s, Aisha Krupski to Senior Account Manager on Coca-Cola and Elouise Haynes to Account Manager on Foster’s.

Recent projects created and implemented by the Apollo team include the world’s first Pop-Up-Pub (PUP) for VB, Carlton Draught’s Mystery Prize (which Hamish and Andy recently revealed to be a one-of-a-kind 18 carat solid gold beer glass valued at $200,000), Coca-Cola’s Singstar campaign and Kellogg’s Nutri-Grain’s ‘Unlock the Iron Man Code’ promotion.

“All of these campaigns demonstrate that you can build brand equity and sales at the same time,” added Will.
