Apparent promotes Brook Miller and Candice Lombard

Sydney based independent agency Apparent has promoted Brook Miller to the newly created role of client services director. Candice Lombard has been promoted to another newly created role of integration director.

Miller joined the agency in 2012 as a senior account manager. Previously to working at Apparent, Miller worked at BMF and Euro RSCG. She has since been promoted several times over at Apparent. Her most recent role at the agency was group business director. Miller has worked with a variety of clients, including US-based Cisco, LinkedIn and VMware.

Lombard will lead operations across account and creative services teams. She joined Apparent in 2019 as a business director. Lombard has previously worked at Cummins & Partners, Sibling and R/GA,.

Apparent managing director, Suzy Smiley, said: “Brook is an exceptional client leader. She has consistently delivered for our clients and has played an invaluable consulting role in the development of the business particularly in building the c-suite relationships with our international clients. This promotion, to the newly created role of client services director, is recognition of this and will position us well for our next growth phase.”

Miller said of her promotion: “Having been with Apparent for almost 10 years, I’m delighted to have been appointed CSD and lead the account management team. I’m looking forward to contributing to the continued evolution of the agency.”

Miller added: “We’re so fortunate to have Candice as part of our team. She brings a wealth of experience and EQ to the role and I’m incredibly excited to partner with her to deliver excellence across our service and operations.”

Apparent’s client list includes Cricket Australia, Campari Group, Chartered Accountants, the Australian Government, Nikon and Zip Co.

Last month, Apparent announced the promotions of Michelle Turchini as its first executive creative director and Louise Acret as creative director.
