ARIA Charts: All five One Direction albums back in the charts

Kylie Minogue has scored her ninth number one album on the ARIA charts, one of three Australian albums to debut in the top 10 this week.

Tension II saw Kylie hit #1 with her fifth consecutive album, and ninth overall. She debuted higher than Aussie punks, Skegss, at #4 with Pacific Highway Music, and Thelma Plum, whose second record, I’m Sorry, Now Say It Back, debuted at #7; An impressive week for local music.

On a more sombre note, UK artist Liam Payne’s untimely death has seen all five One Direction studio albums re-enter the charts, led by Four at #19 and Midnight Memories at #23.

Over on the singles chart, Melbourne artist Rosé and Bruno Mars have debuted at #1 with Apt. bumping Sabrina Carpenter’s Taste from the top spot.

Gracie Abrams’ I Love You, I’m Sorry is the other big mover this week, climbing from #18 to 7, while Night Changes from One Direction has re-entered the chart at #19.

One Direction’s Story Of My Life also re-entered the list at #28, while Morgan Wallen enjoyed the second highest debut of the week at #26 with Love Somebody.
