Arrow Media appointed as Acast’s Queensland commercial representative

Queensland media sales specialist Arrow Media is expanding its portfolio by welcoming a new client, Acast, to its partner roster.

The announcement:

Arrow Media will act as the official Queensland commercial representative for Acast, the world’s largest independent podcast company, extending its presence in this important market. As official sales partner, Arrow will assist Queensland-based brand and media agencies to access Acast’s suite of innovative offerings in the fastest growing audio medium.

Acast’s leading technology allows commercial partners to access their exclusively hosted podcasts through the different products and buying routes offered through Acast Marketplace.

Henrik Isaksson, Managing Director AU/NZ at Acast, says: “Arrow Media’s approach to managing the Queensland market is first class, and we’re excited to be working with Lucinda and the Arrow Media team. Their extensive knowledge and expertise in the Queensland media landscape make them the ideal partner for Acast. We are looking forward to a fruitful partnership that will undoubtedly bring exciting opportunities for Acast and the Queensland audience alike.”

Arrow Media has chosen to be agile in order to focus on providing personalised and on-the-ground services to trusted media brands which do not have a local presence in the Queensland market. With a unique partnership approach and a focus on local services, Arrow Media aims to empower the Queensland media community, attracting and nurturing national brands while maintaining strong ties with their partners.

Lucinda Pfitzner, Director of Arrow Media, says: “We’re absolutely thrilled to partner with Acast after seeing the success they’ve had in New South Wales and Victoria, and I’m eager to replicate that in Queensland.

“I launched Arrow Media because I’m passionate about the local media market and believe it’s important for brands, agencies and publishers to have representation that understands the Queensland market and all of its nuances. South-East Queensland is a unique market from other cities and having reps on the ground can make a massive difference – not only helping with brand presence but more importantly helping clients feel connected to the wider national and global brands they’re buying.”

Since inception in 2021, Arrow Media has represented global media and technology company Yahoo as its foundation client, acting as its Queensland sales representative and cementing its strong position in the region.
