Audiocraft is also excited to launch an exclusive Original Content Development Retreat in collaboration with their lead sponsor Audible.com.au. A select group of mid-career creatives will have the opportunity to work with Audible’s Jesse Baker, Eric Nuzum and Collin Campbell, and Audiocraft’s Jess Bineth and Kate Montague, to refine their idea and dream up the next big hit at Sydney’s Q Station on June 6-7. Applications are now open and close April 29th. For more details and to apply, head to: http://adbl.co/ContentDevelopmentRetreat

Commenting on the initiative, Matthew Gain, Head of Audible APAC, says: “The Content Development Retreat underpins Audible’s commitment to supporting Australian creators and nurturing great local content. It is our hope that this program will be a platform for us to commission work for Audible’s global service.”

Audiocraft’s director Kate Montague says, “This is a fantastic opportunity for storytellers from all fields – be it film, TV, print, or new media – to make the leap into audio and workshop their ideas. We want to create a space for ideas that push the form and raise the bar sky-high for Australian audio.”

The Audiocraft Festival kicks off June 1 with a live event featuring Radio Atlas, followed by a full-day conference, and workshops for producers of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. This is a great opportunity to draw fresh inspiration, boost audio skills, and connect with makers, listeners and potential collaborators. Tickets to the event are on sale now
