Aussie expat hired by Six O’Clock Advisory as first Sydney staff

Six O’Clock Advisory has appointed Lucy Bradlow as group advisor, which marks the strategic communications agency’s entry into the Sydney market.

Bradlow was previously the vice president, strategic communications at Finsbury Glover Hering (FGH) North America in Washington DC, USA.

During her time at FGH, Bradlow coordinated crisis management responses for a global car manufacturer, led communication for polling solution Hawkfish during the 2020 US Presidential election, and was seconded to pharmaceutical giant Cardinal Health to lead media relations and act as spokesperson during COVID-19.

On her appointment, Bradlow said: “Following a hugely rewarding decade or so abroad, it’s great to be back on home soil and joining a highly-respected firm in Six O’Clock.

“I’m looking forward to bringing the experience and perspective I’ve gained in different markets around the world to Six O’Clock’s impressive list of clients, as well as helping to attract new clients in the months and years ahead.”

Six O’Clock Director Patrick O’Beirne commented: “We met Lucy back in 2016 and have been tracking her career trajectory since. Impressed by her approach and intellect, we were keen to bring her into the fold once she returned to Australian shores.

“Lucy’s experience across both public and private sectors in many different geographies means she will bring great depth and intelligence to the advice she provides to our corporate, government and not-for-profit clients.

“She brings a new element to our strong and talented team, allowing us to keep pursuing our growth strategy based on a suite of specialist services spanning strategic communication, stakeholder engagement and reputation management.”

Bradlow will be based in Sydney. Six O’Clock Advisory’s main office is in Melbourne.

Earlier this year, Six O’Clock Advisory added global financial services firm Mercer and the Australian Electoral Commission to its client roster, as well as an unnamed supermarket chain.
