Australia gets most awards in first APAC Effies

NRMA car creationBBDO was named network of the year and Australia picked up the most awards at the inaugural APAC Effies last night.

Colenso BBDO/Proximity New Zealand was awarded Agency of the Year, with Lowe Lintas & Partners Mumbai and Whybin\TBWA Sydney runners up.

Australia picked up three golds, with Whybin\TBWA’s work for soon to be ex-client NRMA, McCann Melbourbe’s Dumb Ways to Die and Saatchi & Saatchi’s work for Greenpeace. 

Among BBDO’s most awarded campaigns was Apology Press Conference for Snickers by I&S BBDO Tokyo, Shaking Up the Category and Winning for Hungry Jack’s by Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and Work Til You Die for Bank of New Zealand by Colenso BBDO.
