Australia and New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants launch Acuity magazine

The Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand have launched a new digital and print magazine for the industry called Acuity, replacing the previous Charter and The Journal publications.

The release:

Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and CMMA Digital & Print, are pleased to announce the launch of Acuity magazine.

Sent to more than 100,000 recipients every month, the magazine is a source of insight and foresight on matters of economics, business and finance. Contributors include award-winning business journalists, leading economists and disruptive futurists.

“Acuity means sharpness of thought, and that’s what our magazine will demonstrate every month,” says Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand magazine publisher Andy McLean. “We will provide our readers with new ideas and fresh perspectives about the forces shaping business today and tomorrow.”

The magazine will embrace collaborative journalism, giving readers the opportunity to inform and shape stories. “We are actively engaging with readers on social media, to draw on their expertise,” explains McLean. “Our magazine will be a conversation between influential business leaders, sharing knowledge, opinions and solutions.”

CMMA Digital & Print will provide custom publishing services for the new magazine. CMMA Director Nick Cutler said: “This is a particularly exciting project for us, because the readership of Acuity magazine is truly global. Members of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand can be found in more than 100 countries around the world. And we’re publishing the magazine free for iPad and Android tablets – with bonus editorial content – to further expand our reach.”

Print copies of Acuity magazine will be posted monthly to members of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. It will also be available free via iPad and Androd tablet apps. Feature stories can be read at www.acuitymag.com
