Australian Banking Association appoints Nunn Media for planning and buying

Australia’s largest independent media buying agency Nunn Media has added the Australian Banking Association (ABA); the trade association for the Australian banking industry, to its list of clients.

Nunn Media will look after the media buying and planning for the ABA moving forward, having already worked on the association’s most recent campaign.

The ABA has appointed Nunn Media

Nunn Media’s Chris Walton confirmed the appointment, telling Mumbrella “it’s a great appointment for us and we are looking forward to working with them in times of great uncertainty and change.”

The ABA, formerly the Australian Bankers Association, was formed in 1986 and represents 22 banking institutions. It provides analysis, advice and advocacy for the banking industry and contributes to the development of public policy on banking and other financial services.

Former Queensland premier Anna Bligh was appointed CEO of the ABA in 2020.

The ABA’s latest campaign encourages members to get in contact with their bank if they are experiencing financial difficulty, and not to tough it out on their own, especially as a result the coronavirus pandemic.

The campaign includes numerous case studies featuring businesses whose financial situation was helped by getting in touch with their member bank.
