Awaken wins media for Opal HealthCare

Independent agency Awaken has picked up media for aged care services provider, Opal HealthCare, following a competitive pitch.

The new remit will see Awaken manage media activity for the organisation, which manages 100 residential aged care communities across metro and regional areas.

Opal Healthcare highlighted Awaken’s fresh outlook yet nuanced understanding of the business’ mission, attributing its selection to the agency’s combination of creative strategy, data and research to drive
media results.

An Opal HealthCare spokesperson said: “Having rebranded with a focus on the concept of ‘Ageing is Living’, we wanted to work with an agency that embraced our vision and could help promote our living values. Awaken this year also brought on new clients The Kids’ Cancer Project, and Chery. In March the agency acquired digital marketing agency Agnes Media, securing its foothold in the UK and US markets.

The Opal HealthCare appointment is effective immediately.
