Bankwest’s Langford

The chief economist of Bankwest Alan Langford and new boss of media agency OMD Angela Nutton have joined the program for next week’s Mumbrella Perth conference.

Langford will be part of the opening session of the event, which is the first held by Mumbrella in WA. The Spends and Trends session will see detailed presentations on the economic outlook and patterns of marketing spending in WA, Australia and the rest of the world.

Langford has been an economist with Bankwest for more than quarter of a century. He edits the Bankwest Monthly Economic and Financial Market Snapshot.

Also on the Spends and Trends panel are Standard Media Index’s global director of analytics Tristan Masters along with the CEOs of West Australian newspapers and Aspermont, Chris Wharton and Colm O’Brien.

Meanwhile, Nutton will be part of the final panel of the day, Mumbrella Question Time. She was promoted to lead OMD WA earlier this month. With her on the panel are Nine boss David Mott – the man who brought Australia Masterchef; HBF marketing director Agata Sleeman and Perth Advertising and Design Club president Mark Braddock.

The rest of the day’s program includes a keynote from acclaimed planner Jon Steel, behavioural scientist Adam Ferrier; mobile marketing expert Travis Johnson plus sessions on nurturing talent and content marketing. The full program including how to buy tickets can be viewed via this link.
