Bankwest’s Garry the squirrel is off to Brazil thanks to his Qantas Transaction account

BankWest is promoting its new Qantas Transaction Account with a campaign featuring the brand’s Garry the squirrel.

Created by Host, the campaign features Squirrel booking a holiday at a travel agent which he explains is because he’s “squirrelled” away enough Frequent Flyer points through the account to fly to Brazil.

Bankwest general manager customer communications and brand Paul Vivian said: “This new account demonstrates our commitment to delivering innovative products and services that generate real value for our customers. We’re really happy to have “Garry the Squirrel” spearhead the campaign, given how well our customers recognise and like him.

“This is one of our largest and most important campaigns this year and will help to further drive our brand metrics in WA and on the East Coast.”

It’s currently rolling out across TV, cinema, digital, eDM, social channls, direct mail, outdoor, press, point-of-sale and QMedia.
