Bauer Media publisher Robyn Foyster resigns

Robyn FoysterRobyn Foyster, the publisher of Bauer Media magazines Woman’s Day, Cosmopolitan, Madison, Harper’s Bazaar and Grazia, is leaving the company, Mumbrella can reveal.

A Bauer spokeswoman confirmed the news, which has been circulated internally via an email from publishing director Gerry Reynolds, who said he regretted Foyster’s decision but wished her well.

Her next move is unclear. She is understood to be leaving the company on 15 March.

Foyster brings to an end her second spell with the company formerly known as ACP.

She left ACP in 2009, having been editor-in-chief of The Australian Women’s Weekly, to join Seven’s Sunrise as lifestyle editor. She rejoined ACP in January 2011.

Over a distinguished career, Foyster has also had spell at Pacific Magazines, where she led editorial for New Idea and Girlfriend magazines. She has also worked in the UK and the US as a TV reporter.
