BCM wins home appliance brand Beko Australia and New Zealand

Brisbane-based advertising agency BCM has won creative duties for home appliance brand Beko across Australia and New Zealand.

Beko, the international home appliance brand of Arcelik group, focuses on manufacturing efficient and environmentally friendly products.

In Australia, its retail products include fridges, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens and microwaves.

BCM will be responsible for strategy, brand planning, creative development, media planning and buying for the Beko brand in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Paul Cornwell, managing director at BCM said the agency was excited to showcase the brand to Australian consumers.

“Although they’re a relatively new player in this market, the brand itself has a strong history and established brand personality, particularly in European markets,” he said.

Amanda Hart, Beko’s marketing manager, Australia and New Zealand said BCM’s “strategic smarts” were apparent.

“We really liked their ideas and approach to developing our brand in the Australian market,” she said.

BCM will commence work immediately.

The agency’s other clients include Crimsafe, QUT and Capilano Honey.
