Bead Foods hires Lion cheese marketer Damian Young
Bead Foods, the company that owns Gippsland Dairy and Chobani Greek Yogurt brands, has appointed Damian Young as general manager of marketing.
Young joins from Lion, where he was marketing manager for the company’s cheese division.
The news comes a month after Chobani announced plans to expand its operations and marketing efforts in Australia.
Young’s career to date involves roles as head of marketing at Australian Country Spinners, senior brand manager at Nestle Peters ice cream and new channel brand manager at Dryer’s Grand ice cream in Oakland, California.
His appointment coincides with the hire of Lyn Radford as general manager of sales.
