Benji Marshall stars in Air New Zealand ads highlighting sponsorship of Auckland Nines

Air New Zealand has recruited NRL star Benji Marshall for a series of videos promoting its sponsorship of the 2015 Auckland Nines rugby league tournament, with Marshall taking on the role of coach to a weedy tourist called Jeff.

The videos, created by Host Sydney, see Marshall “training” Jeff through a variety of tourist activities around Auckland to get ready for the tournament, promoting a competition to win a long weekend away in the city with winners able to chose one of the experiences in the videos as part of their prize.

The competition runs until January 26 and includes gold tickets to the event, flights with Air New Zealand and accommodation.
