Beteasy rebrands as Crownbet with new campaign by GPY&R
Online betting agency BetEasy has announced a major rebrand to CrownBet, launching a new campaign from creative agency GPY&R Melbourne last night.
The new brand bring the company in line with rest of Crown’s assets, after billionaire James Packer bought into the company in December last year.
“The campaign will work to build both immediate and high levels of awareness and registration,” said Ed Owens, marketing director of CrownBet. “With the combined technology and sporting knowledge of this brand, we really are going to change the game for online wagering.”
Wasn’t BetEasy part of Betfair before? Now it’s CrownBet?
Why don’t they just call it Betty von Bettington’s House O’ Better Betting?
Next it’ll be called King Packer
There is so much online betting now, one wonders how long TAB’s will survive
The game just changed? Yes, changed to make it just like every other corporate bookie. When this business formed part of Betfair it was certainly the ‘superior betting experience’. You had the best of both worlds – Betting Exchange + Corporate Bookie Products. It was the best betting platform in the market and a clear point of difference but not now. Next will come the Crown credit card just like Ladbrokes and Sportsbet.
Feels like something I’ve seen 100 times before. Nothing new here folks.
