Big Space Agency’s first national launch for rebranded Selfwealth

Investment platform Selfwealth has launched its first national brand campaign since its May rebrand, via Big Space Agency.

The new campaign introduces a new brand song ‘Growin’ to the moon’, which features in the campaign TVC directed by MightyNice, with supporting executions across OOH and digital.

The creative features a suite of updated visuals that represent Selfwealth’s new brand logo and tagline, Grow You Good Thing. These visuals depict a series of larger than life characters that are picture doing everyday tasks while using the Selfwealth app, set against the backdrop of well-known Australian landscapes.

The characters star in the 30-second spot set to the mew brand song and are already being rolled out across outdoor billboards and trams across Australia.

Following the platform’s rebrand, the campaign features updated messaging that follows the transition of Selfwealth from a transactional brand built on low-cost trade, repositioning it as an investment platform known for giving Australians the confidence to take control of their own wealth creation.

Selfwealth GM of marketing, Jarrod Purchase, said: “Financial investment opportunities are no longer bound by institutional constraints and there’s an opportunity for the average Australian to seek their own financial freedom, whatever that means to them. To get ahead you must have the confidence to take control of your own wealth creation journey.”

Big Space executive director of brand, Kieran Antill, added: “Selfwealth has historically had massive success taking on the banks with low-cost, CHESS-sponsored trades. But the market is becoming increasingly competitive and our aim is to support Selfwealth’s ongoing growth by complementing these foundations with an emotional proposition that connects with their customers.”

Big Space has also created a new Selfwealth brand design system that informs marketing through to internal branding and product development. Internal support includes a video launch, employee assets, and an on-boarding package.
