Bill Clinton’s former environmental adviser Nate Hurst to give free speech

The global chief sustainability and impact officer at HP and former adviser to Bill Clinton on environmental quality, Nate Hurst, is giving a free talk at the Conscience Organisation on May 23.

Bill Clinton’s former advisor on environmental quality is giving a free talk in Redfern next week

Nate Hurst, current global chief sustainability and impact officer at HP and former advisor to Bill Clinton, will be delivering a speech via videoconference at the Conscience Organisation on May 23.
Mr. Hurst will discuss how his team reinvents sustainable solutions that address societal challenges in the areas of education, entrepreneurship, and the environment while utilizing HP’s
technology.

HP’s team created the World on Wheels program, bringing quality education, entrepreneurship training, and access to essential services to over 15 million disadvantaged children across India.

Mr. Hurst will also share stories about the creation of a sustainable micro economy in Haiti by recycling plastic into printer cartridges.

The event is organized by the Conscience Organisation as part of a quarterly community event program, with this month focusing on ‘Tech Leaders having a positive social impact on the world’.
Christopher Marr, a former Australian Army officer who spent more than 19 years in service will also be sharing his experience co- founding Sonder; an app providing critical incident response services by deploying ex and off-duty emergency services personnel to help people in need.

Clive Burcham, Founder and CEO of the Conscience Organisation, says, “Two years ago, we felt the need to create these events to unite our local community and share stories of great people having a positive impact on the world.”

The event will include Q&A, networking and discussions with influential business and tech leaders both locally and internationally.
