Blame finds deals Worldwide

Outback revenge film, Blame, has secured worldwide deals following a successful week at Cannes as part of the Cinema des Antipodes section.

Written and directed by Michael Henry, Blame hits the following Australian cinemas June 16.

Sydney – Dendy Newtown
Melbourne – Cinema Nova
Brisbane – Blue Room Cinebar
Perth – Luna Leederville
Adelaide– Trak Cinema

Internationally, High Point Films  has struck deals with Lightning Entertainment for theatrical rights in North America, CTV in French territoris and High Fliers in the UK and Ireland.

In Central Europe HBO will handle TV rights, while DD Dreams and Sinema TV has picked up China and Turkey.

Blame is the story of five friends seeking justice and revenge, on a man in his remote country house with a plan for the perfect murder.

Confident that their victim’s death by his own hand will not be questioned, they overdose him on sleeping pills, but it all goes horribly wrong when their attempt fails and their victim fights for his life.
