Blismobile extends WiFi to First Fleet

Blismobile has extended its WiFi reach to include First Fleet vessels. This follows the introduction of WiFi to the Sydney Ferries Manly Fleet early last year.

The announcment:

Following the successful introduction of free WiFi on the Sydney Ferries Manly Fleet in June last year, Blismobile has extended the service to the First Fleet vessels, taking the WiFi service to approximately 70% of Sydney Ferries passengers. Passengers receive a free 45 minutes session or 30 MB of data download with two sessions available for each user, one for AM and the other for PM.

Over 170,000 WiFi sessions were recorded since the service launched on the Manly vessels over 6 months ago, demonstrating a strong uptake from passengers. As well as enhancing the passenger journey experience, the WiFi service enables brands to connect with an AB commuter audience and is provided through a partnership between Blismobile and Tomizone, with Tomizone the platform solutions provider, and Blismobile responsible for commercialising the service through advertising.
