Block’s last week sees strong Monday performance
Nine’s The Block more than doubled the audience of Ten’s rival reno show The Renovators on Monday night.
The Block was top show of the evening with 1.702 metro viewers, according to preliminary overnight ratings from OzTam.
The Renovators was 18th, with 670,000. It was fourth in its t7.30-8.30pm timeslot, behind 7.30 (693,000) and Australian Story (991,000) on ABC1; Wild & Woolly: An Elephant And His Sheep on Seven (908,000). The Block ran from 7pm to 8pm on Nine. The Big Bang Theory rated 1.103m at 8pm.
Can Of Worms picked up audience slightly for Ten, rating 789,000. On Nine, rescue Special Ops also gained from its stronger lead-in, pulling in 889,000. Body of proof rated 830,000 for Seven
The series return of comedy Swift And Shift Couriers rated 302,000 on SBS1.
Nine won the night with 22.7% and Ten again slipped to fourth place behind the ABC.
