BMW’s GM of corporate communications Lenore Fletcher set to depart

BWM’s general manager of corporate communications, Lenore Fletcher, is set to depart the car manufacturer.

Fletcher has been in the role for nearly six years and joined the business after spending a year as Fiat Chrysler Group’s director of corporate affairs.

Throughout her career she has also held positions as the head of corporate communications for Mitsubishi Motors and as a manager of public relations at Nissan Motor Co.

BMW confirmed the departure, stating Fletcher would be leaving the business to “pursue an industrywide opportunity outside the company”.

Fletcher’s last day will be December 31 and a replacement will be announced in due course, a spokesperson from the car manufacturer said.

Fletcher’s departure comes six months after the car manufacturer ended its 20 year relationship with Ogilvy Australia.

Three months later BMW appointed Clemenger Melbourne to its creative account.

Meanwhile, last year BMW assigned Kojo to its experiential account and retained Vizeum as its media agency of record.
