Bohemia wins Shift’s strategy, media planning and buying business

Australian technology company Shift has awarded Bohemia – part of the M&C Saatchi Group – its strategy, media planning and buying business following a competitive media pitch.

Shift, a B2B payment and credit solution, provides platforms for businesses to trade, pay and access funds via streaming data.

“The digitisation, innovation and disruption seen across consumer credit and payment platforms hasn’t yet translated to business. We see the opportunity to deliver a better experience, a straight-talking brand and access to a range of finance solutions that suits the fluid needs of Australian businesses,” said Alex Pasminka, chief marketing officer of Shift.

Starting with radio and digital, Bohemia will roll out a campaign over the coming 12 months, built on Shift’s customer purpose: “We’re for doing business better”.

“We are very grateful to be given the opportunity to partner with Shift. Our client-centric integrated offering backed up by data and creativity goes hand in hand with the love of technology and agility of Shift’s service and the scale of their ambition,” says Sev Griffiths, general manager, Bohemia Group.

“While we’ve become accustomed to seeing FinTech’s disrupt traditional consumer finance models, that innovation has been sorely missing within B2B services. Shift is set to make an enormous impact on the ability of Australian businesses to adapt and thrive.” says Max Broer, national strategy director, Bohemia Group.

The Shift account comes after Bohemia’s recent win of Sharesies Australia, where the agency is also responsible for media strategy, planning and buying.
