Guardians of the Galaxy seals second week at top of box office

Action adventure Guardians of the Galaxy sealed a second week at the top of the box office taking an impressive $4.275m in its second week while The Expendables 3 took less than $2m on its opening weekend.

Second place at the box office went to Disney flick The Hundred Foot Journey, a tale of an Indian family which is forced to flee to Europe and open a restaurant in a remote French village, $2.11m on 329 screens, whilst overblown action film The Expendables 3 got $1.789m on 303 screens.

Guardians of the Galaxy has now taken $15.140m since its opening last weekend.
