BPAY introduces Australians to new payment platform in ‘Hello Osko’ campaign

BPAY has launched a campaign for its Osko payments with its ‘Hello Osko’ campaign.

The campaign, created by BMF, highlights many common reasons people transfer money to each other including paying rent, shouting drinks, paying for a movie ticket and sharing a Taxi home.

The ad introduces Osko’s mission as getting “money to mates in under a minute” and uses emojis to show the ways in which flatmates, colleagues and friends can transfer and receive money instantly from anywhere, at time on any day.

Osko is Bpay’s platform which allows Australians to transfer and receive money instantly.

Hello Osko also has a social element to the campaign by engaging influencer Celeste Barber to voice the campaign in her Facebook and Instagram stories.

Jen Speirs, deputy ECD at BMF, said in a statement: “It’s what we didn’t need to do here that made this such an opportunity. We didn’t need to get people to sign up for another service. Or change what they’re doing. We just needed to introduce ourselves, get people to know what we’re good at – and of course, like us a lot.

“Enter striking design, big personality, simple messaging – oh, and Celeste Barber – and that’s exactly what we did. Hello Osko, indeed.”

Renee Amor, general manager of marketing at BPAY Group, added: “Working in a collaborative fashion with representatives across the Financial Services industry has helped ensure the long-term brand and marketing strategy will resonate with our shared customer segments.

The ads are running across TV, cinema, out of home, digital and social.
