Brad Wood heads to The Fox

The Fox in Melbourne has announced three new appointments to its content team, including “one of Australia’s best announcers and operations executives”, Brad Wood.

Wood, joins The Fox as Afternoons announcer and operations manager, coming over from the Hit Network’s B105 Brisbane, where he spent seven years as workday announcer, with several #1 ratings books during his time at the station.

In addition, Gemma Prendergast joins The Fox as new senior producer for Breakfast show Fifi, Fev & Nick. She joins The Fox from Nova 100, where she worked as senior producer on the Drive show for the past six years.

Emily Allen will also join The Fox as the new content assistant, who will also work across the Hit and Triple M networks, coming over from ARN, where she worked in promo at Chilli FM and LAFM.

The Fox content director, Amanda Lee, said: “I am thrilled to announce some new faces to the Fox team who will continue to contribute to the success of the station and our shows. The Fox has incredible momentum in Melbourne and I’m sure that Brad, Gemma and Emily will be valuable additions to the team.”

All appointments are effective immediately.
