Brag Media to represent The Hollywood Reporter, SheKnows and more Penske Media titles locally

Music and entertainment publishing network The Brag Media has announced a new deal with Penske Media Corporation that will see it managing advertising placements for 14 of its titles across Australia and New Zealand.

They include renowned entertainment offerings Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, and Deadline, plus ARTnews, IndieWire, SheKnows and more. The Brag Media has represented Penske’s Variety in Australia since October last year.

The Brag Media chief revenue officer, Joel King, said the partnership will “allow us to offer high-impact programmatic solutions at scale to our agency clients.

“PMC publishes premium brand-safe content and employs some of the best journalists in the world.”

The Brag Media says the partnership will now expand its reach to 4.5 million monthly unique views, and furthers its push into the lifestyle and entertainment space.

CEO Luke Girgis said he’s excited for the publisher to grow beyond music.

“Having grown The Brag Media to the largest music publisher in Australia, and recently launching our newsletter network across multiple cultural niches, this new deal to represent the world’s most premium and iconic titles continues The Brag Media’s growth beyond music, into entertainment and lifestyle.

“I am so proud of the relentless hard work our team has put in over the last four years to get us to this point.

“This deal is just the start of a new chapter for The Brag Media in other categories, experiences and apps for our fans.”

The Brag Media currently publishes Rolling Stone Australia, The Industry Observer, Tone Deaf, The Brag, and Don’t Bore Us in the Australian market.

While this announcement will begin with The Brag Media looking after ad inventory for the aforementioned Penske titles, Mumbrella understands the publisher will be following up with further moves regarding these publications in the near future.
