Brand Society appoints Kieren Thorpe as creative director

Independent brand and packaging design agency Brand Society has appointed Kieren Thorpe as creative director in Melbourne.

The announcement:

Independent brand and packaging design agency, Brand Society, has appointed Kieren Thorpe as Creative Director in its Melbourne Studio.

Kieren, originally from London, has spent the last six years with Brand Opus. The last four years he has been heading up creative in their Melbourne studio, working with brands such as McCain and Twinings.

Nina Kelly, Strategy Director and Co-founder of Brand Society, said “We are very excited to announce the arrival of Kieren to our Melbourne team. Kieren is a visually stunning designer with a wealth of knowledge and experience. We are looking forward to making an impact together over the coming years, within the Melbourne and International design scene.”

Kieren Thorpe added: “I am really excited to be joining the Brand Society team, their vision and goals align with mine and their commitment to the highest quality creative is unmatched.”

Kieren’s work has received AGDA and DBA awards for design effectiveness along with Pentawards and other accolades.

Brand Society, who work with clients such as Mondelez, Coles and Patties Foods, were recently awarded a silver Pentaward for their Cadbury Favourites, Limited Edition packaging design. It was the only silver Pentaward received by an Australian agency in the highly competitive food category.
