Bupa encourages contagious good health in new spot via Thinkerbell

Bupa Health Insurance has launched a new campaign underpinned by its latest Pulse Check survey results, saying that not all contagious things are bad, via Thinkerbell.

The annual survey has revealed that Australians are increasingly focused on their health and wellbeing, and Bupa hopes to play a key role in helping.

The ‘Good Health is Contagious’ campaign encourages Aussies to ‘feel good health catch on’ and make healthy choices – made easier by Bupa.

It is the first major work under Bupa’s new ‘Healthcaring’ brand platform, developed by Thinkerbell last year.

“With this idea, Bupa will be a spark for all kinds of contagious health – from dental check-ups, to mindfulness, to… well lycra, all helping people remember that we can catch good stuff from each other too,” said Jim Ingram, group chief creative tinker and founder at Thinkerbell, said.

The work aims to elevate Bupa’s role from health insurer, to health care partner, in an effort to differentiate itself in the saturated market.

Bupa’s general manager of marketing, Naomi Driver, added: “This campaign reflects how everyday Australians are approaching their health. It focuses on how small actions can catch on to improve overall wellbeing.

“As a healthcare partner to millions of Australians we want to help people feel confident they can live healthier, whatever good health looks like to them. We love the potential this idea has for helping good health catch on across the broader community.”

The campaign is live across digital, social, TV, radio and OOH.
