BWM Melbourne’s executive planning director Catherine Heath exits

BWM Melbourne’s executive planning director Catherine Heath is departing the agency at the end of the week, Mumbrella can reveal.

In an internal note sent to staff, founding partner and chief strategy officer at BWM Dentsu, Jamie Mackay, said Moensie Rossier would take on Heath’s role as an addition to her brand planning director title until the agency finds a permanent replacement for Heath.

Prior to her stint at BWM Dentsu, Heath was the executive vice president and head of strategic planning at Edelman in Los Angeles for over a year.

She has also had stints at M&C Saatchi Australia as its executive strategy director and was the worldwide group planning director at TBWA\ Chiat\ Day.

Prior to that she spent a brief stint as chief strategy officer at Boston creative agency Modernista.

Heath also own her own consultancy Once Upon A Time Brands.

“Catherine Heath – EPD Melbourne finishes up with us this Friday, we thank Catherine for her contribution and wish her well on the next adventure.

“I am pleased to announce in interim our very own 6 year BWM’er, Moensie Rossier has agreed to jump back in with the Melbs team in the role of brand planning director and on the Melbs leadership team.

“Moensie will be juggling this interim Melbourne role with her existing roles as co-author and trainer on the Modern Masterbrand with myself and brand planning director for Haystac Sydney & Melbourne.

“We expect this arrangement to be in place till about October when we should be in a position to announce a full time person in the role.

“Thanks again Moensie and great to have you back on board in Melbs,” the internal memo stated.
