BWS appoints DDB as its creative agency

BWSWoolworths liquor chain BWS has appointed DDB as its creative agency.

The appointment comes two months after the company called for expressions of interest from agencies.

“We are incredibly excited about our new partnership with DDB Sydney,” said Andrew Hicks, general manager of Marketing for the Woolworths Liquor Group.

“At the outset, our goal was to find a full service agency capable of transforming the BWS brand. We have every confidence that a partnership with DDB Sydney will deliver just that,“ he said.

Andrew Little, managing director of DDB Australia, said the agency were pleased with the win. “We are delighted to be working with BWS. They are an incredibly talented team and the work they have done to date across 1,200 stores has been superb,” said Little.

“Work starts on Monday and I know everyone at the agency is very excited about the prospects for this great brand,” he said.
