Canada/Australia opportunities at MIPCOM
Screen Australia and its counterpart Telefilm Canada will present a matchmaking event at MIPCOM on October 6.
The event will be held at the Canada Pavillion and it’s aimed at “interested producers, broadcasters and distributors to foster Canada-Australia coproduction and other business development opportunities”.
Telefilm will also host a similar event for UK delegates. The Canadian agency explained that the events with Australia and the UK have been arranged “after Canadian delegates expressed strong interest in exploring coproduction opportunities with UK and Australian companies from among more than 50 nations exhibiting at MIPCOM 2010”.
