The highly coveted contract gives CVO exclusive access to spaces in 184 Metro network stations, including fence and wall mounted, decal and freestanding, on station platforms, concourses and station precinct signs.

MTM operates 226 six-carriage trains across 998 kilometres of track, transporting 450,000 customers each day. CVO will install more than 800 bespoke assets across the city.

“The Metro network signs are a keystone in our national rail portfolio enabling CVO to offer our clients the opportunity to engage with hundreds of thousands of people on their daily commute,” said CVO Head of Commercial Peter Franklin.

“Our clients will have access to key spaces across Melbourne and the ability to get their businesses in front of rail users in some of the best locations in the market,” he said.

The outdoor advertising company is making a big push nationally, and recently appointed a former oOh! Media senior sales specialist Sal Daoud to oversee CVO’s expansion plans and bring a new sales leadership to the business..

“We are always trying to think of new ways to integrate outdoor advertising and provide opportunities for business owners to advertise within their local community. At CVO, we strive to expand the possibilities of OOH and bring affordable solutions to market,” said Mr Franklin.

Part of Venetian Media Group (VMG), CVO has worked in close partnership with MTM since 2017. The Group’s recently appointed Chief Executive Officer Michael Fishwick was pleased to extend the partnership.

“We are delighted to be extending our long-term relationship with MTM, and bolster our OOH portfolio with outstanding coverage at major train stations across metropolitan Melbourne. This contract reinforces CVO’s standing as a leading provider of bespoke OOH signage,” said Mr Fishwick.

“Through these bespoke assets, we hope to create greater opportunities for businesses to service their local community. These assets allow businesses of all sizes the opportunity to access OOH solutions at an affordable price. We consider them an important part of the local economy,” said Mr Fishwick.
