Carat appoints Michelle Testa as general manager of Perth Office

Carat has appointed Michelle Testa as its general manager of the Perth office.

The media agency has also hired Tourism WA’s Amanda Bryant as its strategy director.

The announcement:

CARAT NAMES MICHELLE TESTA AS NEW GENERAL MANAGER OF PERTH OFFICE

Michelle Testa joins the Carat Perth team in their new CBD offices as General Manager – part of a raft of new hires designed to bolster the agency’s senior leadership team.

Testa, formerly General Manager of Dentsu Mitchell in Perth, is in good company, joined by a number of new senior recruits including Tourism WA’s Amanda Bryant, who joins the team in the role of Strategy Director.

Dentsu Aegis Network alumni, Carissa Pearce, has been promoted to Client Lead across some of the agency’s key accounts. Pearce now joins the largely female executive leadership team steering Carat Perth’s 50+ strong team.

Paula Greten, a Carat team member since 2012, has also been promoted, stepping into the role of Account Director.

Carat Perth Managing Director, Adam Marshall, said of the hires: “These appointments and promotions reflect the sustained growth of the Carat business in WA. Each person is a respected leader in the industry and will drive the Carat service into new areas. We are delighted to attract and reward talent of this calibre.”

Testa said of her appointment, “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to lead a talented group of individuals, who are assisting our clients in mastering the complexity of an ever changing landscape. A great time to be in the business, and be part the leadership team influencing change.”

Carat recently relocated the growing Perth team to new offices in the CBD.
